Overview
You may be unhappy with a court’s trial decision and may want to appeal. Alternatively, an opposing party may appeal a trial decision that was favourable to you, requiring you to respond to the appeal. We act for both appellants and respondents by examining the trial record to identify whether the trial court made any errors that can justify an appeal. Courts can make errors in identifying the relevant law, applying the law to the facts, or in directing the procedure of the trial. We will review your case to determine whether the court made appealable errors, and advise you about your likelihood of success and the timing and cost of bringing or defending an appeal.
