Company History
Varty and Company was founded in 1984 by David Varty. The firm grew at its location on Howe Street in Vancouver, drawing on experience in transportation law, computer law and litigation.
As lawyers joined the firm the areas of practice expanded to include securities law, family law, real estate and criminal law. During the next decades, the lawyers of the firm have handled cases in corporate and commercial law, immigration, motor vehicle accidents, aviation and marine law, estates and landlord and tenancy.
Brent Ellingson joined David in 2013. David Varty has emphasized good relations with clients, other lawyers and staff, and fairness in all dealings.
